Terms Of Use Of The SalesThese conditions are subject to terms envisaged in the Spanish Act 7/1998, of April 13th and revised 1/2000, on General Conditions for Contracting (LCGC) and in the General Act 26/1984, of July 19th, for the Defense of Consumers and Users, as well as EEC Guideline 97/7, of May 20th 1997, which applicable to contracts via the Internet between the consumer and the provider and other current legal regulations.
Altura Destination Services is a fully licensed Spanish travel agency with all the necessary permits to carry out the activities.
These terms and conditions constitute Altura's agreement with you for the sale of accommodation. Please read them carefully, before proceeding with your booking. They apply to all bookings made with Altura and to all members of your party. Altura acts as booking agent on behalf of all the hotels, apartments and villas featured on this website.
Altura reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without notice and you agree that your continued use of this site will be conditional upon the terms and conditions in force at the time of your use. By completing your booking you accept that you have read, understood and accepted the terms. If there is any part that you do not fully understand, or if you have a query, please contact Altura.
1. How to make a booking
Simply complete the details in the booking section of this website to make your reservation and make the payment. It is at the time that we send this confirmation that a binding contract comes into existence. At the same time Altura will supply a voucher, which you should print and present to the hotel on arrival. It is essential you carefully check that all details of your booking are confirmed correctly at the time you print off the voucher and invoice.
2. Responsibility
If there are two or more people in your party, the person making the booking must have authority to do so on behalf of all other travelers and accepts responsibility for making all payments for all party members including any changes or cancellation charges. He/she will inform the other party members of the confirmation details and any other appropriate information. All personal information entered during booking registration and membership must be correct.
3. Age
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking with us and have legal capacity to use the Altura site and to create legally binding obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of using this site. If you are under 18 years of age, and your parents or guardians are not traveling with you, you must email us their agreement to accept responsibility for the booking and all payments.
4. What is and what is not included in the basic room price
The terms and conditions of each service (prices, products, availability, cancellation or modification of booking conditions) have been established by the hotels.
Includes:
All accommodation and meal arrangements as confirmed in your booking.
All mandatory hotel service charges and taxes.
VAT on all holidays in EC countries.
Does not include:
Transfers to and from the airport abroad and your accommodation.
Excursions and personal expenses.
Additional charges for rooms, meals, etc. not included in your voucher.
Charges which hotels or apartments may make for facilities such as cots, sunbeds, tennis courts and equipment, bicycle hire etc.
Deposits may be requested on arrival by some accommodation owners.
5. Booking Conditions
If you book less than 56 days before departure, you must pay, on behalf of the accommodation provider, the full price of the accommodation at the time of booking. You can make your payment with any credit or debit card.
Note: If you cannot make payment on time, your booking may be cancelled. Payment for incidental expenses (e.g. mini bar, telephone charges etc) has to be made directly to the accommodation provider when you visit.
6. Special requests
If you have any special requests (e.g. dietary requirements, cots or room location), please let us know by email at the time of booking. We will pass all requests on to the accommodation provider but we cannot guarantee that they will be available. Confirmation that a special request has been noted or passed on to the supplier or the inclusion of the special request on your confirmation invoice or any other documentation is not confirmation that the request will be met. Failure to meet any special request will not be a breach of contract on our part. We do not accept bookings that are conditional upon any special request being met.
7. Cancellations and modifications
If you wish to modify your booking after it has been confirmed, we will endeavor to help but cannot guarantee that this will be possible. All modifications are subject to availability and to any increase in price. (Please note: modification charges are only valid if you are staying at the same hotel and wish to change room type, board basis etc.) If you wish to change to a different hotel, please call our administration team who will be happy to advise you of the costs involved in this situation.
Period prior to your arrival at the accommodation specified that we receive your cancellation email the penalty costs are as follows:
56-14 days before arrival 25% of the booking price
7-13 days before arrival 50% of the booking price
0-7 days before arrival 100% of the booking price
8. Before travel
It is your responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport, any necessary visas, plus any necessary vaccinations. Make sure you apply in time, as not being in possession of valid documentation may prevent you from traveling.

Your doctor regarding vaccination requirements
Altura is not responsible for any damages or losses that may result from your travel to any particular destination.
9. Insurance
The cost of medical and other expenses abroad can be very high if you suffer an accident or illness. Altura therefore advises you to ensure that you have travel insurance.
10. Circumstances beyond our control - Force Majeure
Force Majeure refers to (but is not limited to) fire, exceptional weather conditions, earthquakes, accidents, epidemics, destruction or damage of accommodation by any cause, governmental intervention, war or threat of war, civil unrest, terrorist attack or industrial action affecting Altura or its suppliers.
11. Complaints Procedure
In the event that you have a complaint while staying at the establishment in question, you must advise reception or management immediately so that they have the opportunity to take steps to rectify the situation. Altura is not responsible for any loss or damage caused by the acts, omissions or negligence of any third party supplier.
12. Disclaimer
Information provided by accommodation providers can be found on this site in good faith. Altura cannot accept any responsibility for errors or misleading information and accepts no responsibility for any errors or omissions on this site.
Hotels and other service providers on this site are independent businesses and not agents or employees of Altura or its affiliates. Altura and its affiliates are not responsible for any action, omission, breach or negligence of suppliers or any damage or expenses arising from the aforementioned products. Altura and its affiliates are not responsible for any refund in case of overbooking or force majeure or any other cause beyond their control.
13. Indemnification
You accept responsibility for the proper conduct of yourself and your party during your stay. The accommodation provider reserves the right at any time in their reasonable opinion, to terminate (before or after departure) your holiday or that of any member of your party due to your or their misconduct. The penalty will then apply and no refund will be given. In addition, the accommodation owner has no obligation to pay compensation or meet any costs or expenses you may occur as a result of us terminating your booking, in accordance with this paragraph.
If your actions or those of any member of your party cause damage to the accommodation in which you are staying, you agree to fully indemnify us against any claim (including legal costs) made against the accommodation owner. Finally, you are also liable to make a reimbursement to the accommodation provider for any damage caused, before you end your stay.
14. Arrival and departure times
Your room will normally be available between midday and 2pm on your arrival day shown on your confirmation email and voucher. Check out time is normally between 10 am and midday. The laws of Spain will govern these Terms and Conditions and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish Courts in respect of any proceedings arising out of them.
